During this workshop you will learn how to make a simple skirt pattern based on your own measurements; from this pattern you will then create a stylish and useful A-line skirt from your own choice of fabric. At the end of the day you will take home a beautiful new skirt and your very own ‘made to measure’ pattern to use again and again.
Some previous sewing experience is useful but there will be expert guidance on hand. All equipment is provided, you will need to bring along 1.5m of your chosen fabric and a matching 25cm zip. Cotton prints, light non stretch wools or needle cord are all perfect for this project.
Sessions are kept to a maximum of 6 people to ensure everyone can learn at their own pace. Groups and parties welcome see the Special Sessions page.
