During this weekend workshop you will learn how to draft a trouser pattern based on your own measurements; from this pattern you will then create a toile to refine the fit before moving on to create a final (wearable) toile of your final fitted pattern. At the end of the weekend you will take home a beautiful new pair of trousers and your very own ‘made to measure’ pattern to use again and again.
Some previous sewing experience is useful but there will be expert guidance on hand. All equipment is provided, you will need to bring along 2.5m calico, 2.75m of medium weight fabric to create your wearable 2nd toile, and a matching 25cm zip and thread.
Sessions are kept to a maximum of 4 people to ensure everyone can learn at their own pace. Groups and parties welcome see the Special Sessions page.
